Northside Hospital Offers Funding For Mammograms
And Breast Diagnostic Services

Did you know that annual mammograms are the most effective way to detect breast cancer early? 

Thanks to the generosity of Susan G. Komen for the Cure,  Northside Hospital is able to provide funding for women who need a mammogram, but cannot afford one. 

Funding is available for qualified applicants to receive screening mammograms and breast diagnostic services at Northside Hospital's Breast Care Center in Atlanta, Northside/Alpharetta Women's Imaging, Northside Hospital-Forsyth Outpatient Imaging in Cumming and Northside/Riverstone Imaging in Canton.  Qualified women also are eligible to receive mammography screenings through Northside's ScreenAtlanta mobile mammography van, which offers mammography screenings and breast health education on a year-round basis at several north Atlanta Kroger stores.

To qualify for financial assistance, applicants must reside in Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fayette, Fulton, Forsyth, Gwinnett, Henry or Rockdale counties.  Additionally, women must be at least 35 years old for screening mammograms, meet income level requirements, have no health insurance and provide a written order from her physician.  Funding is available until resources are exhausted.
